WHO IS THE IMA SOS APP FOR ?

Members of Indian Medical association can use the IMA SOS app, whenever they feel vulnerable or threatened in clinics or hospital violence, so that IMA crisis team coordinators can reach them at the earliest.

HOW DOES THE “IMA SOS” APP WORK ?

Indian Medical association official app "IMA SOS” is available for Android. After installation, provide your personal mobile number, email address, date of birth, gender, address and city.

You will receive an activation code on your registered mobile number to complete sign up.

Enter your activation code and your sign in process is complete. The IMA SOS Home screen will be displayed post this.

During an emergency, pressing the SOS button on the home page sends the alert after pressing confirm button. and the app automatically sends current location along with Panic signal to the crisis team.

Notification section shows the notification messages from State headquarters.

All the permission required during registration process are only for the purpose of proper functioning of the SOS app and all its associated features. Some of the permissions are as per policy of Google play store.

All user details/data are under safe and secured department's IT infra environment only by following all required standards.
