Surah Al-Kahf was revealed when slander that tempted faith was increasing, namely when the torture carried out by disbelievers against believers was becoming more and more indiscriminate. In it there are instructions to find a place to save your faith, inspired by the story of Ashabul Kahfi.

So he immediately ordered some of the Muslims to emigrate to Habasyah. He said: "If you go to the land of Habasyah, verily there is a king who is not wronged by anyone on his side, it is a land of honesty, until Allah gives you a way out of this (test) that befell you."

When someone understands the meaning of this letter, then always reads it with full appreciation and accompanied by its practice, then he can avoid slander, even the biggest slander of all slander, namely the slander of the Dajjal. Narrated from Abu Darda from the Prophet SAW, he said: "Who can protect the ten verses at the beginning of Surah Al-Kahf - in Muslim history from the end of Surah Al-Kahf - he is protected from the slander of the Dajjal. (HR. Muslim, Tirmidhi, and Abu Dawud).

In fact, when Al-Kahf's letter was read, a cloud of calm came. Narrated from Al-Barra bin Azib, he said that there was once a man reading Al-Kahf's letter in his house, while in his yard there were his animals. So the animal ran away, then he looked around and it turned out that there was fog or clouds covering him.
