Darren Watkins Jr (born January 21, 2005), better known as IShowSpeed or Speed, is a content creator and online broadcaster from the United States. He is known for his variety in live broadcasts. IShowSpeed Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, Watkins registered his channel “IShowSpeed” in 2017, primarily posting gaming videos. From 2021 to 2022, he started gaining immense popularity due to the circulation of attention-grabbing clips from his live broadcasts on social media platforms. In 2022, he was named Breakout Streamer of the Year.

Apart from its cute and expressive nature when playing games during live streaming, IShowSpeed's popularity is also driven by the number of clippers, aka people who cut the content and re-upload the content on social media. The content from these clippers has indirectly made IShowSpeed more widely known by internet users, especially gamers.
