Pentatonix (sometimes abbreviated as PTX) is a capella music group composed of five vocalists: Kirstin Maldonado (mezzo-soprano), Scott Hoying (baritone), Mitch Grassi (countertenor), Avriel Kaplan (bass) and Kevin Olusola (beatbox). Coming from Arlington, Texas (United States) The group won the third season of The Sing-Off of the NBC network obtaining $ 200,000 and a recording contract with Sony. In 2015 they won the Grammy Award for "Best arrangement, instrumental or a cappella".
