Kaam Mango

Kaam Mango APP is a technology-based initiative of Madhya Pradesh state employment Guarantee council’s (MPSEGC- MGNREGA) to offer services to citizens to

a) Demand for MGNREGA work days are directly raised by the community

b) Demand the number of work days desired by them for the current financial year.

c) Demand new MGNREGA job card.

The app aims at creating an environment of transparency for the beneficiaries. Since MGNREGS is a demand driven program, multiple channels of capturing the job demand will be critical to ensure that all the households with need of employment can demand work seamlessly. Using this multichannel approach, the Government of MP aims to enable direct access to entitlements under MGNREGS. Citizens can directly register and demand for unskilled work. Community volunteers or any citizen can raise demand on behalf of the job card holder by registering the Kaam Mango app.

Who can demand work? Workers with a valid job card can raise these demand. If the job card is inactive, they can raise a demand for activation of the job card.
