The Book of HEAVEN's Enchantment discusses the state of heaven and its beauty.
As well as among its contents discussing Heaven which in Arabic is called al-Jannah taken from the expression al-hadiqah zatusy-syajar (garden or garden consisting of various kinds of trees). This was to illustrate to the minds of the Arabs at that time that there was a place that was very beautiful and filled with various kinds of extraordinary pleasures. In stark contrast to the dry desert region of the Arabian Peninsula.
The privileges of heaven and the pleasures contained therein are described by Allah SWT in a qudsi hadith narrated from Abu Hurairah RA, "I (Allah) have prepared for My pious servants a reward (heaven) that eyes have never seen, heard by the ear, and has never entered the heart." (Reported by Bukhari).
After Rasulullah SAW described heaven, He SAW then read the verse of the Koran, "No one knows what is hidden for them, namely (many kinds of favors) that are pleasing to the eye in return for what they have done." (QS as-Sajadah [32]: 17).
The pleasures given by Allah SWT in heaven are eternal, never-ending, and countless. Of all these pleasures, the highest pleasure that will be felt by the inhabitants of heaven is witnessing Allah SWT. As explained in His word, "The faces (of the believers) that day were radiant. Looking at their Lord." (QS al-Qiyamah [75]: 22-23).
The area of heaven is described as being as wide as the heavens and the earth. As explained in the Qur'an, "Hurry and seek forgiveness from your Lord and get a paradise that is as wide as the heavens and the earth, which is reserved for those who are pious. (Surah Ali Imran [3]: 133). It is also stated that in it flow rivers that There are various kinds and named according to the state and nature of the water.
There is a river of clear water, that is, the water is always clear, the taste and smell have not changed. There is also a river of milk because the water consists of milk, the taste of which also does not change. Then, there is also the river of arak (khamar), namely the water consisting of khamar which tastes very delicious, but not intoxicating. Furthermore, there is also a honey river, whose water consists of filtered honey. (QS Muhammad [47]: 15).
The jewelery given to the inhabitants of heaven consists of gold, pearls and clothing made of silk. (QS Fathir [35]: 33), both thin and thick fine silk. (QS ad-Dukhan [44]: 53). Meanwhile, their food and drink consists of various types, whatever they want, everything is available. (QS az-Zukhruf [43]: 71).
Paradise dwellers are truly pampered. Their plates and cups are all made of gold. In addition to equipment made of gold, there are also tools made of silver and crystal (QS al-Insan [76]: 15). Besides that, the inhabitants of heaven are served by young maids like pearls who are sprinkled with silk clothes that are very beautiful and pleasing to the eye. They stay young and never grow old. (QS al-Insan [76]: 19-21).
