Apex Comics reader

Your comics. Your rules.

Apex Comics is the best comic and manga reader on Android if you care about speed, offline reading, and keeping your collection private. It opens CBZ, CBR and PDF, builds a real library from your folders, and keeps getting smarter with regular updates.

Start free. When you want more, unlock Premium with a lifetime purchase or a monthly plan you can cancel anytime. No forced account.

BUILT TO WORK OFFLINE

Your library lives on your phone first. Import a local folder and keep reading with no network at all. Cloud folders (Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox) and Komga are optional: browse remotely, download what you need, then read offline. Progress stays on your device. We do not collect your reading data. No cloud lock-in for your files.

LIBRARY THAT ACTUALLY HELPS

Apex turns raw archives into a clean shelf with covers, progress, favorites, search, series stacks, and smart organization. Continue reading, jump to the next issue, and spot missing gaps in a series. Premium unlocks multiple libraries so you can keep manga, Marvel, or backups separate without rescanning.

READING YOUR WAY

Full-screen reading made for real comics on phones and tablets.

Horizontal, vertical, and dual-axis modes Webtoon continuous scroll Guided View (Premium): panel by panel in the artist’s order Sharp zoom, page timeline, trim scan borders Ambient mode, orientation lock, one or two-page spreads Smart page caching so turns stay smooth

PREMIUM TOOLS THAT GO FURTHER

X-Ray: character profiles while you read (identities, powers, origins, bios) without leaving the page Discovery: weekly comic releases and manga catalogs from Marvel, DC, Image, Dark Horse, Boom!, IDW, Dynamite, and more Reading stats: activity heatmap, streaks, hours, top heroes, series and publishers from comics you actually finished Cast to Chromecast or Android TV, with your phone as the remote Ad-free reading and automatic cloud backup of app data Two-way Komga progress sync

POWERS (PREMIUM ADD-ONS)

The first Power is Bubble Pop-out: long-press a speech balloon and it lifts off the page so you can move balloon to balloon without breaking flow. More Powers are coming.
