SafePlate: Picky Eater Tracker

SafePlate is a calm, private way to track how mealtimes really go — one meal at a time, at each child's own pace. Built for parents of picky eaters and children with food selectivity, ARFID, or sensory food aversions.

Feeding a selective eater is hard to hold in your head: which foods are safe, what got a lick versus a full bite, which restaurant was too loud, and what "plain, not touching" version finally worked. SafePlate remembers it for you, so you can see real progress instead of guessing.

WHY PARENTS USE SAFEPLATE

• Keep a clear list of safe foods for each child

• Log every meal in seconds — food, place, and how it went

• Track tolerance the gentle way, not just "ate it / didn't"

• Spot patterns across foods, textures, and places

• Stay calm and consistent across the whole family

TRACK WHAT ACTUALLY MATTERS

• Steps to Eating ladder: at the table, looked, touched, smelled, licked, took a bite, ate it — every small step counts as progress

• Liking, tolerance, and distress tracked separately, because they are not the same thing

• Sensory tags: crunchy, soft, smooth, wet, dry, strong smell, and more

• Safe-food flag, meal type, and "how it was served" (plain, no sauce, not touching)

• Add a photo and notes to any meal

MEALTIMES OUT, TOO

Eating out can make or break a meal. SafePlate logs the restaurant plus the things that quietly matter — noise, lighting, how busy it was, and where you sat — so you learn which places actually work for your child.

SEE WHAT'S WORKING

Recommendations surface each child's favorite, most-tolerated foods and the calmest places to eat, so your next try starts from a win instead of a blank page.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

• No account, no sign-up, no ads

FREE — WITH AN OPTIONAL TIP JAR

Every feature is free, forever. No locked content and no subscriptions. If SafePlate helps at your table, there is an optional tip jar in Settings to support future updates — but it is never required and unlocks nothing, because everything is already yours.
