This name derives from the SePedi “Ke Leeto La Rena” meaning “It is Our Journey.”

Leeto adequately captures our historical influences, future aspirations, culture, spirit, and way of life as the people of the great city of Polokwane.

Leeto fosters a sense of pride, and of ownership, as it was named by the people of Polokwane, our unity in diversity shone through.

Our Leeto will not only help ease congestion on our roads by making the use of

public transport a viable option for motorists, but it will also improve quality of life in

the city in at least four key ways:
