Another Testimony of Jesus Christ

The Book of Mormon is another testimony of Jesus Christ, which confirms the truths found in the Holy Bible. The Book of Mormon does not replace the Bible, rather they are supplemental works that together teach the nature of God and of Jesus Christ.

These two volumes of scripture are the compilation of the teachings as recorded by the prophets of old. While the Bible details events in the Eastern Hemisphere, the Book of Mormon describes the lives of people in ancient America.

Therefore, this book is a compendium of the records of the people of Nephi and also of the Lamanites—written for the Lamanites, who are a remnant of the house of Israel, and also for the Jews and the Gentiles—Written by command, and also by the spirit of prophecy and revelation—Written, sealed, and hid for the Lord, lest he be destroyed—To appear, by the gift and power of God, to be interpreted —Sealed with the hand of Moroni and hid for the Lord, to appear in due time by the ministry of the Gentiles—Interpretation by the gift of God.

The Book of Mormon is a work of holy scripture comparable to the Bible.
