  Updated on Jul 24, 2026

  What's new
  • Auto-calibration on launch — the detector is ready the instant you open the app, no button press needed.
  • More reliable detection: now responds to nearby iron and steel from any direction.
  • The big number now shows Field Change, so it clearly jumps as you approach metal.
  • Faster response when you sweep the phone over an object.
  • Clearer on-screen guidance, plus a figure-8 tip when accuracy is low.
Note: detects magnetic (ferrous) metals and magnets only.
