Mar Baselios School Maruthamonpally

Mar Baselios School was founded with a view of sustaining the long –cherished desire of a remote hamlet to have a school to cater to their academic needs. Established in 1999, it is the largest among its kind in a 15 km circumference. The founder who was an academician himself had this in mind when he conceived the idea of a school in rustic surroundings. The lamp has been on the pedestal since it was inaugurated by the then C.B.C.I President, His Grace Cyril Mar Baselios. That was a simple beginning reminding us of the dictum " The beginning of all things are small.

Management

The school belongs to the Malankara Catholic Education and Charitable society of the Archdiocese of Trivandrum. One of the primary apostolate of the management is its service in the field of education. For the past years the Major Archdiocese has been rendering excellent services to the society by providing quality education to thousands of the students across the nation. The management has to its credit a number of colleges (professional & other), Technical institutions, Training Schools, Higher Secondary & Secondary schools.
