Massimiliano Tedesco

I am an Inspector of the State Police, in service at the Turin Juvenile Prosecutor's Office.

My first life ended on 12/16/2019. Date on which my wife Daniela passed away after a long and suffering oncological journey. My battle with the pain isn't over yet and he knows I will never give up. I don't want to give him that satisfaction.

I forced myself to regain all my strength and forced my hand to hold a pen and open the doors of a blog, all mine. A huge inexhaustible container where I keep my words… conceived in the noise of my brain and grown in the beating of my heart. Words that give shape to my being and substance to my possessions and that are not afraid to indelibly stain the thoughts of the people who want to read them…

Writing has been my best therapy, my best friend. I wanted to erase the darkness that was turning me off by turning on the light of an idea of ​​solidarity, every day. And so my poems kept me company throughout the lockdown period.

I have published 2 collections and all the proceeds from the sale have been destined for concrete projects in favor of cancer-sick children and their families. In particular at Casa Ugi, a voluntary association in Turin, of which I am proudly a member.

I participated as a policeman/writer in the October 2021 extraordinary edition of the Turin Book Fair and in the May 2022 one.
