PLEASE NOTE: This application is based on the Tzolkin count according to the traditional form practiced for centuries by the Mayan grandparents. It is not related to the calendar of the 13 moons, called "Dreamspell," invented by an American author who is not authorized by the Maya 20th century.

Perfected for hundreds of years, from when the Olmecs began using the calendar, knowledge of the Mayan calendar has come to our generation, having survived a massive agenda destruction by the Spanish conquerors, as well as multiple attempts to re- invent and re-define it out of their own context. But most important is that it remains incredibly accurate and relevant to modern life.

So we made this application so you can connect with the energies of the sacred Tzolkin calendar, and to understand the essence of each of the blocks that make up day-signs and numbers. Descriptions of the "energy of the day" are based on authentic interpretations and practices of this sacred calendar that have been made available to us through the Mayan grandparents in the highlands of Guatemala.

In December 2011, the English version of this app (MCP Mayan Tzolkin) won the Silver Davey Award Design of the International Academy of Visual Arts. In fact, the success of the English version and the many requests we have received, led us to make this version in Spanish.
