MedItRight

The MedItRight mobile medical application seeks to solve the common problem of choosing over-the-counter (OTC) cold/flu and allergy medications by consumers. The choice of OTC cold/flu and allergy medications is overwhelming, and includes both brand name and generic products. The MedItRight user will input information, including age of the person needing the medication, as well as the symptoms the person is experiencing. The consumer would also choose which medication formulation is preferred (i.e., tablet, syrup, etc), as well as side effects that wish to be avoided (i.e., sedation, insomnia, etc). Based on the symptoms experienced, as well as other demographic information and consumer preferences, a list of appropriate medication choices are listed.
