Middle Tennessee Addiction Center provides office-based opioid treatment utilizing long-term maintenance with buprenorphine medications in the context of behavioral treatment and recovery support. Our history of providing healthcare has always focused on women in obstetrics and gynecology as our core. Several years ago we saw the need for a subspecialty in addiction medicine and began treating pregnant women with addiction. After attaining board certification through The American Board of Addiction Medicine, we transitioned into an addiction medicine practice focusing on women, pregnant and not pregnant. Because of the need, we focus on those covered through TennCare and accept payment from Amerigroup, Blue Care, and United Healthcare. (Other insurances are also accepted.) We do not accept cash payments other than copayments and insurance balances.
