[How muting works & notes]

This app silences the shutter by temporarily disabling all device sound.

- If you turn muting on manually, all device sound stays disabled until you turn it off. With per-app auto-muting, it turns on only while the camera is open and off when it closes, so you never forget to turn it off.

- If you uninstall the app while manual muting is on, you won't be able to turn it off. Always disable muting before uninstalling.

- If muting doesn't work, try restarting your device.

- If you press the shutter before the "Muting ON" indicator appears after opening the camera, muting may fail.

- Some devices cannot be silenced by design. If muting still fails after a restart, your device may not support it.

- While muting is on, all device sound — including music — is disabled.
