MyCompanion - Your IOT Friend

MyCompanion - Your IOT Friend. This is an Android app designed to communicate with your remote IOT devices. This app is designed over websocket protocol which enables it control devices without any accountable delay. You can operate any remote device from every corner over internet. The graphical interface gives user, option to choose their own elements (Handlers) and place them on the app screen. Each element is activated on long press. The elements are draggable on the screen.

This app is usefull to communicate with devices like NodeMCU, ESP8266, RASPBERRY, WEMOS etc.

A library MyCompanionSimpleEsp8266.zip has been developed to make ESP devices able to communicate with 'MyCompanion - Your IOT Friend'. Instructions on MyCompanionSimpleEsp8266 library is available on the Help page of this app.

App usages: After first time installation you have to register your email id with the app. You can register your email id following the link provided in the login page. After submitting the data, an activation email will be sent to your mailbox. You have to activate your app by clicking the activation link in your email.

Your can change your password from the profile page in the settings menu.

After logging in the app, you can place Handlers on the screen by long pressing the red floating acion bar button.
