The Geneva Edition Bible (NEG): It is a revision of the Segond version, which is why it is also called Louis Segond 1979.

It was published beginning in 1975 as the Scofield Bible, with notes by American theologian Cyrus Ingerson Scofield, then in 1979 without note with some modifications.

The Segond version dating from 1880 and revised in 1910 needed a revision in the 1970s to follow the evolution of the French language.
