Simply add a shoe, enter the total amount of miles you want to run in them, press go and New Shoes will do the rest. Once you've reached your target mile count, the name of your shoes will be assigned a shoe emoji to denote that you've reached your goal.

New Shoes uses your phone's GPS location to count the miles you travel with each run. Location tracking is accomplished on your device only, and the app does not collect, store, or share your location data.
