News Tokri also brings you the opportunity to become a citizen journalist. We believe its impossible for the media to track down everything that is happening around us despite its best efforts. We also believe this app will empower people to report what is happening around them and make their lives and their society better organised. News Tokri offers a simple method to post their news by capturing a moment of the development through integrated camera app and write about the development.

News Tokri will moderate every news created by our citizen journalists before publishing* it to the news app.

News Tokri will segregate each news piece by respective category and display those in that particular section. However a selected set of news will be displayed in the 'Top News' category. This news app also tracks news developments from each state of India and the same are stored in the respective state segment.

News Tokri will also post short and crisp reviews of gadgets including smartphones, laptops, tablets, TVs, cameras as well as restaurants, bars, cafe and other service providers.

The news app is searchable and one can search from each segment of news or from the home page.
