Daily Cache Wiper

Daily Cache Wiper is a cache-only cleaner. You pick one installed app. The app then opens that app’s Android Settings page and clears cache there. Sign-ins, photos, saves, and other app data are intended to stay in place.

ACCESSIBILITYSERVICE API

This app uses the Android AccessibilityService API. It is not an accessibility tool and does not use the IsAccessibilityTool flag.

What the AccessibilityService API is used for:

• After you review an in-app disclosure and tap I agree, you enable Daily Cache Wiper in Android Accessibility settings.

• After you choose one app and tap Clean, the service is armed for a short session.

• During that session only, it reads on-screen labels inside the Android Settings app (package com.android.settings) so it can tap “Storage & cache” and “Clear cache” for the app you selected.

• The session then turns itself off. The service does not read other apps, does not change settings without that session, and does not collect, store, transmit, or share the Settings text it reads.

You can disable the service anytime in Android Settings → Accessibility.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Open Daily Cache Wiper

2. Review the Accessibility disclosure and enable the service

3. Choose one app to clean

4. Tap Clean. Android opens that app’s Storage & cache page. Daily Cache Wiper taps only “Storage & cache” and “Clear cache,” then the session ends.

WHAT THIS APP DOES NOT DO
