  3.0.4 — Install and repair reliability
  
  • FIXED: A broken system copy of a crypto library could permanently block Hermes from repairing itself — even "Repair install" could not get past it. It is now detected and set aside.
  • FIXED: "Check install" could report everything healthy while packages needed for MCP tools were missing. It now tells the truth, and "Repair install" puts them back.
  • "Check install" shows progress and ignores repeat taps.
  • Setup after an update no longer blocks chatting.

  3.0.3 — Install / update / repair reliability
  
  • FIXED: MCP tools could not load at all on Android. They work now.
  • FIXED: A failed update could leave the agent half-updated and unable to start. It now rolls back to the version you had.
  • FIXED: An interrupted install or update no longer gets stuck — the app cleans up and rebuilds on next launch.
  • Clear message when the environment is not ready.
  • "Check install" no longer flags the optional git tool.

  3.0.2 — Critical fixes
  
  • FIXED: After updating hermes-agent inside the app, it failed to start every time with a long error message. Affected devices repair themselves automatically on the next launch — no reinstall needed.
  • FIXED: On some devices the app re-ran its setup on every launch, took minutes, then failed the same way.
  • Updates now verify the agent still starts before reporting success.
  • "Repair install" now tells you honestly if it did not succeed.
