• Guard also spots the scam when a text arrives with a broken ñ ("mañana" turned into "ma}ana"), another way bulk campaigns mangle the message.
• A link merely resembling a brand is no longer enough to alarm you. But if it repeats a letter or swaps one for a digit — paypa1 instead of paypal — it still is.
