The English Language Learning System “Okay!” represents an excellent opportunity for you as a student to continue learning in an active, entertaining and fun way, giving you the opportunity to experience in an vivid and proactive way different ways of building your own knowledges.

The main objective of the self-learning system is to offer you a cognitive and socio-emotional support that allows you to develop your abilities, skills and capacities, preparing you to successfully face the challenges of self-learning, from an idea of construction of your own thinking, from the creative resolution of dares and challenges, which will test your previous knowledges and your ability to solve real and everyday life problems.

The mobile application “Okay! System” was designed with you in mind, to help you make the path of independent study easier and more understandable, for this it offers you access to content, materials, videos, games, audios, etc ... all of them presented in organized way, to guarantee that you acquire the expected knowledge in each of the subjects of the semester you are studying.

The operation of the application is predominantly off-line, which means that it does not necessarily need to be connected all the time to the internet, it can be used as a complete search tool since it guarantees access to multiple contents considering the fact that it is compatible with any mobile device that has an Android operating system.

When manipulating it, you will be able to observe that the structure of all subjects is made up of three different moments (beginning, development and closing) and four specific actions:

• I UNDERSTAND. (BEGINNING) In this section you will find information and exercises that aim to recover your previous knowledge, experiences, knowledge and preconceptions, from which you will be able to integrate the new knowledge, that means, you will be able to create a link between what you already know and the new learnings that you are acquiring.

• I EXPLORE. (DEVELOPMENT) It presents you with clear indications so that you can carry out search and inquiry activities, starting from putting to use your skills for reading, reflection, comprehension, comparison, analysis and handling of data from which you can build your own learning .

• I DO. (DEVELOPMENT) After having recovered your previous knowledge and having investigated new information, you are presented with a series of activities that can be donewhich your brain will begin to build the cognitive links required to transform the new information into knowledge, in addition to you will have the opportunity to put them in use to check your own progress and achievements with the creation of tangible evidence.

• I ASSESS (EVALUATE ) It presents the opportunity to make archivable your objective level from the resolution of self-evaluation activities that require you to put your metacognitive skills to use, that means, it gives you the opportunity to quantify and qualify what you know , and thus identify your areas of improvement to continue learning.
