Oretex Mobile Meter (OMM) is an indegenius Nigerian taxi app that runs both on ride sharing app and meter. Inotherwords, it runs both digital (mobile) and analogue (meter). It offers riders the opportunity to get quick rides with or without using a phone by hailing meaning you can either book a ride with your app or you can manually hail a cab . Both gives the same comfort.

With oretex mobile meter, there’s no room for manipulation by drivers even if there is network failure, customers can also control their trips while they see their money reading on the meter. After the trip, the meter prints out the receipt which the rider can access before paying which means the driver must printout the receipt before a rider can pay. This also is applicable to the mobile app

Unlike other apps,ours is a lot much cheaper in fares because we are local in a foreign body.

How to request a ride with the OMM mobile app:

1. Download OMM app for free.

2. Sign-up using an easy step.

3. Tell us where you are and where you are going to or,

4. The app uses your location so your driver knows where to pick you up.

5. Request for a ride after which you’ll see your driver’s and vehicle details, and can track their arrival on the map.

6. After the ride, you can rate your driver and provide feedback to help us improve the OMM experience.

How to request a ride with OMM meter

On the dashboard, there’s always a small meter like a car stereo installed. When you site the meter, you can hail down the taxi which will take you to your destination in comfort.

OMM App and meter interesting features:

1. The app helps to set your pickup location even if you don't know the exact address

2. You can also hail down an OMM cab when you spot the meter on top of the dashboard.

3. When a driver is enroute to your pick up location, the driver’s details is shown including: full name, phone number, and car details.

4. The app will notify you once your driver arrives your pickup location.

5. The “start trip” on the driver’s side will activate only when the driver reaches your location

6. Your trip ends when you arrive your destination.

7. Customers can also control their trips while they see how their money reads on the meter.

8. With or without network we can run from point A to point Z without break

9. The meter prints out your receipt at the end of your trip for payment to be made.

10. At the end of every trip, you will rate your driver and your driver will also rate you.
