OWL Music

Hello Users! Owl Music goal is to facilitate blind users by providing an audio music player with voice control mechanism. It can play/stop the song and can play the previous/next songs per users command. In addition to basic controls it has extensive search feature by which searching is possible via song title/name, artist name and emotion based tags. Our project will greatly help and give blind friends freedom to listen any song selected through voice command.

Commands through Voice:

The provided ON/OFF mode make it possible to manipulate OWL via voice or via buttons.

Basic Features:

Play/Start >> When the user give “PLAY/START” command it play the song.

Stop/Pause >> When the user give “STOP/PAUSE” command it pauses the played song.

Next >> When the user give “NEXT” command it will play next song.

Previous >> When the user give “PREVIOUS “command it will play next song.

Skip to Start/End>> When the user give “SKIP TO START OR SKIP TO END” commands it will play the start of the playlist or the end of the playlist song.

Volume Modification>> By “volume up” command the volume will increase 10% if it is not 100% and by “volume down” command the volume will be decrease 10% if it is not 0%.

Extensive Search Features:

This features is used to search the song according to user demand.

Song Title / Song Name>>user have to give command (search “song title”)

e.g. (search “dua” )command to play the song. Dua is the title of the song. OR

(Search “song name”) e.g. (search “broken angel”). Broken Angel is the name of the song

By Artist Name>> to search song by artist name they will give command (search “artist name”) e.g. (search artist “Arash”). Arash is artist name.

Emotion Based Tagging>> when user want to search song based on emotion they will give command i.e. search (any emotion e.g. sad or love) song. If users want to assign tag to a particular song ,will give command i.e. add (tag) (e.g. add love) and then the user will use the particular tag to play the song by giving command i.e. play (tag) songs. E.g. play love songs.

TIPS OR Points To Kept in Mind:

When user give commands to the app OWL they keep in mind to gently tap with only one finger on the screen and wait 2 to 3 seconds to processed it by app and then give command and after one command user have to remove finger from screen to another command again wait for just 2 sec to understand that command by app and then give another command to get the best possible results.
