🌈 CORE GAMEPLAY

Drag your finger to slide the neon paddle left and right. Touch the screen to launch the ball when a round begins. Keep the ball in motion, ricochet off walls and the paddle, and strike every colored target across the upper field. Thirty targets sit in five rows and six columns. Each hit removes a block and adds points. If the ball drops below the paddle, you lose one life. Lose all three lives and the round ends. Destroy every target before time runs out to see the Victory screen with your final score. Paddy Power favors steady control over wild swings. Where the ball meets your paddle changes its angle, helping you reach corners and bonus blocks among standard targets.

🎯 TARGETS AND SCORING

Standard neon blocks grant five points when destroyed. They appear in green, cyan, orange, and red, giving the grid a lively mosaic as blocks disappear. Bonus targets glow magenta with a ring marker. These blocks are worth twenty points—four times a normal hit. About fifteen percent of blocks may spawn as a bonus, so each round offers a slightly different layout. Your score updates instantly in the game interface as blocks shatter. Particle bursts flash at each impact. Points add up as you clear the grid, but only destroying every target triggers the Victory outcome.

⏱️ TIMER AND LIVES

Every session in Paddy Power runs on a sixty-second countdown shown in the header bar with your Score and Lives. The timer adds pressure as fewer targets remain. If the clock hits zero before the grid is empty, the round ends with a time-up message. You start with three lives. When the ball exits the bottom, one life is removed and the ball resets on the paddle. Ball speed gradually increases after paddle contacts up to a controlled maximum, so rallies grow slightly more intense.

✨ VISUAL STYLE

Paddy Power uses a dark cosmic palette with glowing cyan borders, magenta accents, and luminous target colors. The paddle shows a bright gradient, the ball shines white with a soft glow, and destroyed blocks erupt into particle trails. Rounded shapes, subtle shadows, and pulsing title text on the start screen reinforce the arcade mood. A compact display, large buttons, and clear labels keep the interface clean and accessible.

Your high score is saved locally on your device and appears on the start screen. When you finish with a higher total, the app updates the stored value automatically. Victory appears when all targets fall; Game Over when lives or time run out. The result screen shows your final score, details such as remaining targets, and a Play Again button. Compare each attempt with your high score and keep improving your skills across sessions.
