THE PROBLEM: Every Day Millions of driver’s waste time and gas searching for a parking spot. In congested cities it can take almost half an hour to find a parking spot, stressing people out and costing them valuable time. It's estimated that 30% of city traffic in the United States is attributable to drivers waiting for a parking spot to open up. Over the course of a year, that cruising around looking for parking causes up to 950,000 excess vehicle miles per 15 block area. The extra mileage wastes 47,000 gallons of gas, and releases 730 tons of carbon dioxide into the environment. That is only 15 blocks of one city. Multiply those figures by every block in every city and the environmental impact of parking is alarming.

THE SOLUTION: The app will cut down on unnecessary driving, saving people time and drastically reducing the release of carbon dioxide. Park Swift enlists residential and commercial property owners to rent out available driveway and parking spots when they are not being used. Park Swift enables the property owner to rent out their spot as often as they like at the price they want to charge. It is a great way to earn extra income and get paid directly into your bank or PayPal account. Drivers download the Park Swift app and can see available spots in real time near their destination. No more driving around missing appointments or class. With Park Swift one click can save you time, gas and the aggravation of finding a parking spot. I currently need funding to finish the Park Swift app and website. It is very costly to create a program that can match drivers with available driveways. We also are working on a camera monitoring system that will track parking times and keep vehicles secured. I have invested a lot my own money and time into Park Swift. I need your help to fund the project to completion and make this vision a reality.
