FILES TAB
Results saved to Download/PDF Toolkit Pro land in one list in the app, where you can open, share or delete them. Web to PDF is the exception: it keeps its exports in the app's own folder and shares them from the result sheet. Recent work stays one tap away and a search box filters all 26 tools.
PRIVACY
Documents are read, processed and written on the device. No file is uploaded, no account, no sign-in, and results are saved on your device to Download/PDF Toolkit Pro. The app itself does send data: anonymous usage events (which tool you opened and finished), screen views and crash reports go to Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics, and ad requests to Google AdMob with your advertising ID. In the EU and UK a consent form appears on first launch and can be reopened from Manage privacy choices.
PERMISSIONS
- Internet: the browser in Web to PDF, plus ads, analytics and crash reporting.
- Read and write external storage: declared for older Android only (up to Android 12L and Android 10). On current Android neither is used, because files are picked with the system picker and results go to Download.
- Read media images: for putting exported page images into your gallery.
GOOD TO KNOW
Ads: a full-screen ad when you return to the app, one after roughly every third result and after a batch run, plus native ads on the home screen. Compress on medium or heavy, Merge, Split, Page Manager and Crop Margins rebuild each page as a picture, so the result keeps the look but not the selectable text layer. Conversions to Word, Excel, Text, HTML and EPUB read the text layer, so layout, images and tables are not carried across; a scanned file needs the OCR Scanner first. Web to PDF rebuilds a page from its text and main images, not as a pixel copy of the layout. Text recognition covers Latin-script languages. The interface is English.
