Picads

Picads, the App to earn extra income while taking advantage of your trips around the city.

Download Picads to your mobile phone, search the map for the nearest points to photograph and start seeing how your account balance increases. Create a user and associate your PayPal account to deposit the accumulated money.

When you have €10 or more accumulated, you can request payment of your entire balance.

Too easy. You just have to follow the instructions that appear on your screen.

To register you will only have to enter your basic information (name, phone number and email), then link your Paypal account to be able to collect your money. Remember that you have to reach €10 or more.

Once you have registered in the App, the first thing you will see will be a map of the area where you are and all the objectives will appear there (green markers). If you are not nearby, Picads gives you the option to guide you to them. The objectives are advertising posters (for movies, series, telephone, drinks, restaurants, banks, perfumes, etc...) that are installed at bus stops or on other supports on the sidewalks and streets of your city.

When you select the objective on your screen (green marker), a window will appear, which in addition to indicating that this objective is available, will show you an image of the poster so that you can easily identify it and the financial reward that you will receive in exchange. You take the photo and hit the send button. You will see how your Picads balance goes up immediately.

Once you have €10 or more, tap the button with your name at the bottom of your screen and request the transfer. You will be able to see in your PayPal application that you already have your money.

When you take the photo, Picads will indicate that it is in the validation process (orange marker) and no one will be able to photograph that target. Now you can continue photographing other nearby targets. And as soon as we have validated your photo, you will see that the marker has changed from orange to blue and in your account you will see that your balance has increased. A gray marker indicates that that photo has already been taken by someone else (next time you have to be faster 😊)

We will upload different objectives each week. There will be dozens (and soon hundreds, even thousands) of points to photograph in the main cities of the world.

Remember the color code of the map markers:

Green: Go for it, it's available! Get close enough for Picads to let you take the photo.

Orange: Congratulations! You were the first to take the photo and we are checking that it is valid. We will give you the good news shortly!

Blue: Bravo!, the photo is valid. Your balance has grown immediately. Run for another green dot!

Red: Wow! Maybe the photo was blurry or at night or the street environment was not visible well. Nothing happens, you do it again and that's it 😊. Look at the example photos that Picads offers you just before taking the photo.

Gray: We have to be faster! Another photographer beat you to it... Don't worry, there are many more green dots and we renew them every week.
