Make space for prayer and reflection.

Threshold pairs a daily prayer or observance schedule with intentional pauses for selected apps. Choose Islam, Judaism, Christianity, or a custom schedule, then set up the windows and reminders that fit your practice.

SCHEDULES FOR YOUR PRACTICE

Choose your city from the bundled city list. Threshold computes supported prayer times on your device without asking for Android location permission. Tradition-specific settings and custom schedules let you adjust the timing to your needs. Computed times may differ from your local congregation; check the schedule and use the available adjustments. Threshold does not provide religious rulings.

PAUSE THE APPS YOU CHOOSE

Select the apps you want to pause during an active window. With active access and the necessary Android permissions, Threshold displays a shield when you open a selected app. Complete the in-app prayer or reflection flow to resume access. Threshold relies on your confirmation; it does not independently verify that you have prayed.

Usage access detects the foreground app locally. Display-over-other-apps permission shows the shield. Permission and battery restrictions can affect blocking. Threshold is a commitment tool, not a security lock: you can disable it or uninstall it.

YOUR ROUTINE, ON YOUR DEVICE

View local history, manage reminders, and use local backup export and import. Islamic mode includes a Qibla compass. Your selected city, prayer or observance history, commitment, and blocked-app choices stay on your device. The current release does not create cloud backups.

PRIVACY AND ACCESS

No named account is required and there are no ads. Analytics and crash reporting are off by default and can be enabled separately in Settings. Required Firebase configuration and Google Play subscription services use limited technical and purchase information described in the Privacy Policy. Offline access depends on your verified entitlement and its applicable limits.

A subscription is required for regular access. Review the price, billing period, and any offered trial terms in Google Play before confirming. Manage or cancel your subscription in Google Play.
