Portfolio Vinhos

Porfolio Vinhos was born in 2009 from a partnership between Symington Family Estates and Joaquim Augusto Cândido da Silva, a member of a family that has been operating in the wine distribution market since 1940.

Responsible for the distribution in Portugal of the entire range of wines from the Symington family, Portfolio Vinhos also distributes other national premium wines such as boutique wine from Douro Quinta da Carolina, Alentejo wines from Herdade do Mouchão and Rui Reguinga, from Dão os wines from Quinta da Falorca, Alvarinhos from Anselmo Mendes and Madeira wines from Blandy's.

Of the foreign wines, the highlights are the wines from PFV (Primum Familiae Vini) - an association of twelve family companies from the best wine regions in the world - namely Champagne Pol Roger, Burgundy from Joseph Drouhin, Alsace wines from Hugel and Chateau wines Beaucastel of the Perrin family of Cotê du Rhone, Provence and Châteauneuf-du-Pape. It also distributes the French Loire wines of the Bourgeois family, the Crémant Brummell from Burgundy and wines from major producers in regions of the new world such as Chilean wines from Concha y Toro and Villa Maria from New Zealand.

In addition to these representations, the prestigious Austrian brand Riedel is added, because the best wines deserve to be enjoyed in the best glasses.

In recognition of the quality of the service provided daily and the proven experience in the market, in 2017 Portfolio was distinguished with the "Distributor of the Year" award by Revista de Vinhos.

The year 2018 marks a new stage in Portfolio's history, expanding its luxury offering with three of the most prestigious spirits brands: Gin The Alpinist, Rum Dictador and Whiskey Single Malt Edradour.
