Power Meter

***DO NOT USE NEAR OTHER RIDERS, CARS, OR OTHER HAZARDS**

To use, pedal to your maximum speed and coast to your minimum speed (ex. 25mph to 7mph) The moment you begin coasting, press the "Add Run" button. Once finished press "finished". Pedaling, braking, or changes in slope, posture, or wind will give inaccurate results. You may add runs to increase accuracy.

Reset will only take into effect after an additional run is added.

This will tell you your power in watts to maintain your current speed, assuming the same conditions when you calibrated the power meter. If you want to know your power on a hill or in the wind, reset and do a calibration on that hill or in the wind.

Power is the "power at the wheels" to maintain your current speed and is based on data gathered while coasting without pedaling. "Power at the pedals" is the one reported by true power meters and will be ~10% more due to losses in your chain & cranks.

If you have a crank/pedal power meter you are encouraged to email or write in a review your results with this app versus your physical power meter. This app only measures constant speed power and is expected to give a ~10% lower value than a physical power meter.
