🚀 Neon Pulse - Game Overview

Neon Pulse is a fast-paced, classic vertical-scrolling arcade space shooter with vibrant sci-fi visuals and intense action, completely optimized for touch and mobile screens.

🎮 Core Gameplay & Mechanics

Endless Waves: You pilot a sleek starship fending off relentless waves of enemy fightercraft. As your level progresses, the waves get faster and more dense.

Combo System: Taking down enemies in quick succession builds up your Combo Multiplier. Play aggressively to keep your chain alive and rack up massive high scores!

Fluid Movement: Drag your finger across the screen to maneuver your ship smoothly and dodge enemy fire. Your ship automatically fires its primary weapons.

Checkpoints: As you reach major level milestones, you unlock core checkpoints so you don't lose all your progress when your ship is destroyed.

💥 Weapons & Power-ups

Your arsenal expands during gameplay by picking up glowing power-ups scattered by destroyed enemies:

Primary Lasers: Your standard rapid-fire weapon.

Seeking Missiles: Homing payloads that automatically lock onto enemy ships, allowing you to focus on dodging.

Spread Fire: An upgraded attack that covers a wider arc of the screen, clearing smaller enemies instantly.

Hyper Beam: A massive, high-damaging laser beam that melts through everything in its path for a short duration.

💰 The Synth Scrap Shop (Upgrades)

When you destroy enemies, they drop glowing Synth Scrap. In between runs or when you reach the Game Over screen, you can spend your hard-earned Scrap in the Shop for permanent ship upgrades:

Hull Integrity (HP Module): Increases your starship's maximum health, letting you take more hits before exploding.

Overclock Weapon (Rate Module): Permanently increases your ship’s baseline, rapid-fire shooting speed.

Attraction Field (Magnet Range): Expands your ship's magnetic radius, automatically pulling in stray Synth Scrap and power-ups from further away so you don't have to risk your life to collect them.

👾 Enemies & Epic Boss Fights

You won't just be facing simple grunts. The enemy armada features a huge variety of ships with unique movement and firing patterns. Periodically, you'll reach heavy combat zones where you must face Boss Encounters:

Aegis Shields: Bosses defended by rotating circular shields that block your lasers. You have to thread your shots through the gaps in their armor.

Swarm Minions: Bosses deployment ships that release smaller, aggressive drone ships to overwhelm you.

Bullet Hell Beams: Massive laser arrays, spread shots, and sudden ramming attacks that will test your reflexes.

Push as far into the galaxy as possible stringing together flawless combos.

Fully max out the shop upgrades to transform your ship from a fragile fighter into a devastating dreadnaught.
