QuickVocab

QuickVocab is a simple but friendly app to help you expand your vocabulary in Italian, French, German or Spanish.

It has been shown that by learning a small number of the most frequent words you can understand most parts of a conversation.

Based on this knowledge QuickVocab takes a simpler but more effective way of learning words: instead of by choosing categories and learning about all the fruits QuickVocab presents words randomly from a pool of the most frequent words in that language.

For example, the beginners level presents words one at a time from the top 100 most frequent words in that language.

Intermediate picks from 1,000 of the top words, by which stage you'll have made a good start on the languages vocabulary.

Translations, meanings and examplss of each word are provided.

This is a first release of the app and I'm sure there are many improvements.
