Radio Mitrovica Sever

Radio Kosovska Mitrovica started broadcasting on November 23, 1982, as a regional radio station. In the framework of local self-government, it functioned until 1998, when we joined the Radio Television of Serbia-Business Unit-Radio Belgrade, the first program. Radio Kosovska Mitrovica broadcasts a program within the NGO "Radio Mitrovica Sever", at the frequency of 104.6 FM. The Independent Media Commission in Kosovo granted this station a license to work with a new frequency in March 2015.

The radio broadcasts the program 24 hours, from 7 to 19 informative porgramme, and then entertainment-music. Radio, when it was the only ones in this area and with many generations of growing up while listening it, remained a significant factor in achieving the function of informing citizens in the Kosovo-Mitrovica region and beyond. Employees try and manage to preserve the reputation of this 33 year old media company, with the desire to inform listeners, but also improve, improve, enrich and educate journalists, audio recorders, editors and performers. The result of the classical and practical school of journalism are many who have demonstrated their work and ability in large media outlets, such as RTS, BBC, national print media, internet portals.
