REPPMAS

REPPMAS (Regional Pandemic Prevention Management System) is a mobile and web-based eHealth Risk Communication Management System which harmonizes the communication of health risk and effectively manages rumors during health outbreaks in the West African region and also strengthens the communications and coordination between ECOWAS institutions and specialized agencies, NCIs, and partners in the

field of disease control.

It aims to Improve and Promote Communication of Health Risk in the ECOWAS

Region.

The mobile application of REPPMAS is used by the public to report rumors, suspected cases, and as well get recent information about outbreaks, diseases, health tips, events, and awareness about these outbreaks and diseases. It also improves the effectiveness of the task force volunteers by monitoring their flow of work.

Reports a made using either of these two methods; voice and text. The app also supports offline capabilities for users to still make their reports even when there is no internet connection.
