Rhythm School

Researchers at Tuft University are determining a linkage between discerning different rhythms and reading. This app is meant to test those conditions, specifically in Uganda.

Within the app, a rhythm will play. Then a second rhythm will play and the student must select whether or not the second rhythm is the same or different. This will happen up to 40 times per session. The hypothesis is that if students can discern between rhythms, their rate of learning how to read and write is greatly accelerated.
