Rice disease

This is a bilingual app developed in Tamil and English languages. This App is developed for farmers and extension officials who are having an Android smart phone .

In this App, major and widespread rice diseases are covered. By this app,diagnose the disease by

1. by disease name

2. digital images are arranged in scrollable image gallery. In the absence of digital images with exact symptoms disease drawings are used.

3. by expert system. What is expert system ?

Expert system is a branch of artificial intelligence and is a computer program that exactly mimic an expert system identification and problem solving.

If symptoms in the digital image are identical to symptoms in the field, tap that image, it will divert it to the details of the disease after confirmation dialog box .

In this , details of management practices to be followed immediately after noticing the disease are narrated. Further, details of management practices to be followed when rice is cultivate in the same field next season in detail.
