You hit snooze five times in the morning. RiseUp puts an end to that with a simple trick: Your alarm only turns off when you scan an NFC tag that isn't next to your bed.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Place your RiseUp tag where you want your morning to begin. On the bathroom mirror, by the coffee machine, in the hallway.

2. The alarm rings on the lock screen until you get up and scan the tag. No more turning it off from bed, no more endless snoozing. Swiping it away won't do anything; the alarm will just go back to you.

3. A second scan shortly afterward ensures you don't fall back into bed. You decide how many times you have to confirm—one to three times.

You can set the pause between swiping it away and the return to 30, 60, 90, or 120 seconds. During the confirmation window, you can use your phone normally; a banner with a countdown will guide you back.
