SPPB Test

The Short Physical Performance Battery (SPPB) is a standardized test administered by physical therapists and other clinical professionals to assess disability, risk for institutionalization, and mortality, among other outcomes. The test is typically administered using a stop watch, an 8 page protocol/scoring sheet, and a calculator.

The SPPB Test app walks you through administering the SPPB following protocol and automatically doing necessary calculations.

Built-in stopwatch for each section.

Automatic scoring and progression through test as indicated according to protocol.

Instructions for each section are available via the app overflow menu in the top right and update according to the current section/test.

Visual aids for foot positioning during balance section and arm positioning during chair stand test.

Optionally add patient identification and send via email or other preferred method.
