The keyboard can occasionally stretch or shrink in relation to the full cover screen width. While the exact cause is unknown, turning the screen off and back on will fix the keyboard layout.

Accessibility Disclosure:

On devices that have disabled navigation and status bar access on the cover screen, enabling use of the Accessibility API will allow this app to temporarily enable the cover screen keyboard. No views or text are recorded. This feature only changes the default keyboard when the standard UI / API is unavailable.
