SentryMDU (Multi-Data Unit) is an Open Source mobile solution that provides real-time video streaming integrated with GPS location tracking and remote access / control. Although primarily a tool for First Responders (Police, Fire, Rescue), Security and Industrial Applications, we also offer this system to the General Public.

Security Features

Security features include supervisory and user level Security Domains for controlling access to/from other users and groups. Data encryption is provided for those that need secure communications.

Map and Satellite Imagery

A variety of Map formats are available. You may choose from simple road maps to high resolution satellite images with street name overlays or even create your own custom map layers. Viewed map areas are automatically cached on your device to be available for offline use (for traveling in remote areas).

Remote Access Video Streaming

When used as a body-cam, vehicle dash-cam, sports camera or remote access surveillance camera, the system provides real-time video streaming, voice activation and motion detection. SentryMDU will display multiple audio-video feeds from other users to your device. Imagine sitting in London and watching a live body-cam video of a friend walking the streets of New York.

App Installation and Use

The App is free to download, install and use. To interact with "other" users, you must register a Username and become a member of a Security Domain. This can be a group you create (ie your family, friends, civic org) or an existing entity that you may work with (Police, Fire, Rescue). Registration is FREE.

Licensed Server Installations

If you are a member of an Organization that has a licensed SentryMDU Server, you simply install the App, register a Username, enter your organization's License Key and you are ready to go.

In-App Subscriptions

We offer subscription options to those that would like enhanced satellite imagery, file storage and broadcast bandwidth. As commercial software, the App has no advertising and we do not gather and sell your information. We recover the cost of hardware, content, internet bandwidth and operations by charging a monthly subscription fee to those that want enhanced services. We offer four (4) subscription levels based on usage ... from a casual user ... to a commercial level. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the end of the period. Some features that require access to a Licensed Server, via the SentryMDU Manager Desktop Client, are NOT available to Subscription Users.
