WHAT IS SHOUT?

Shout is an app for creating colourful animated GIFs/videos from images and text. People use Shout to create eye-catching media for Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Ads, and more. Get creative and see what you can make!

CUSTOMISE TEXT

Type something in a frame then choose a text style by toggling 'Bold' and 'Italic'. You can use emoji in your text too.

BACKGROUND COLOURS

You can choose a colour to use as the frame background to make your GIF/video more exciting, and fit your style or brand. You can also choose a custom colour using the 'Custom' pencil icon.

BACKGROUND IMAGES

You can add a background image by clicking the 'Add Image' icon on any frame. Shout supports all common image types except for animated GIFs. When you add text over an image, Shout will add a colour overlay to make sure the text can be read.

MANAGE FRAMES

You can add frames by clicking the 'Add Frame' button at the bottom of the screen. You can remove any frame by clicking the 'Remove' icon in its top-right corner. You can also duplicate any frame by clicking the 'Duplicate' icon.

DOWNLOAD AND SHARE

When you're ready, click Preview' and wait a few seconds while the magic happens. You'll see a preview of your GIF/video and you can click 'Download' to save it to your device. On some devices, you'll also see an option to "Share" your GIF/video directly to any other app on your device.
