I have been a professional DJ and radio presenter for over 20 years. I started at the age of 11 at school. entertaining over 1500 students age between 11 to 18 every Thursday. entry charge was 5 pence raising to 10 pence. At the age of 14, I was spotted and signed up by my manager, Mr. Superbad the film star from the K'Tel TV adverts on TV. He was a X professional boxer from Brooklyn New York New York. Ranked number 6 in the World Heavyweights in 1961 real name Freddie Mac, behind the number 1 at the time Mohamad ALI.

THE HISTORY OF OUR RADIO STATION

THE STATION STARTED AS FAR BACK AS 1990, IN A GARAGE CLOSE TO GATWICK AIRPORT. THE MUSIC THEN WAS SO AMAZING WITH TOP SOUL STARS INTERVIEWS. THE BROTHER STATION DANCE FM TOOK OFF BIG TIME. This caused Sky Soul Music Radio to take a back seat, Dance Music became so popular in the 90's early 2000. We call this electronic dance music. Even a very famous radio 1 DJ turned his back on soul to launch a multimillion-pound career in dance music. This is fifty times more popular than soul. I have worked with over a thousand soul artistes, and it's crazy but I now play soul music having the pleasure of already meeting or working with these soul stars. this is brilliant. Brass Construction, Kenny Thomas, Cameo, the Cool Notes, Michael Jackson, the Funk Masters, Chaka Khan, Fat Larry's Band, Edwin Star, Rose Royce and over 1000 different others very famous soul stars, The Soul DJ's I believe help to pioneer soul music into the UK, Are Steve Walsh RIP, Robbie Vincent and Greg Edwards thank you for making my teenage life as a Soul DJ very successful. Plus, I have to mention a Super star importer called Tony Monson who kept me upfront and in front with new imported releases from the USA.
