SmartCyclo provides you real-time and accurately your body posture on your bike!

Either you are a beginner, or an elite cyclist, or even a pro triathlete, you can definetely benefit if you optimize your position during your ride. You will need our SmartCyclo sensors and connect them with the SmartCyclo app. Then, use it to find real-time your best aerodynamic position, while training or racing.

It can be used for Indoor and Outdoor rides, and it is suitable for road and triathlon bikes. It can also connect with other available third-party devices and collect more useful data.

It accesses the background location to calculate the distance covered and the speed even if you close the app, e.g. in long outdoor rides.

SmartCyclo can identify your accurate posture on the bike, distinguish it as Ideal or Not Ideal and presented on the screen during the ride.

Bike Positions

Triathlon Bike Positions:

1. Straight Up (Standing up)

2. Comfortable (on Tops)

3. TT (on Bars)

4. Lower than TT

Road Bike Positions:

1. Straight Up (Standing up)

2. Comfortable (on Tops)

3. Aggressive (on Drops)

4. TT (on Bars)

5. Lower than TT

Ideal / Not Ideal

Each position is devided in two subcategories: Ideal and Not Ideal. This is defined by the degrees the body has on the bike. The Ideal is narrower and more difficult to maintain. The app uses average values produced by many experiments from many athletes, BUT each athlete can make custom adjustments on the ranges of each position.

Custom Positions

Either you have done a bike fit in a studio, or in a wind-tunnel, or even you have used a mirror and corrected your position and adjusted your bike on it, you can save your custom different positions on the app. Then the app can use your own custom positions to track and analyse. This feature can help you to correct your positions gradually and get into the more aerodynamic position, allowing for maximum performance.

After ride statistics

All data is captured and analysed. After the ride, useful statistics are presented in graphs and in analytical tables, and are held in the history of the user account:

History

Studying your previous rides, allows for better planning and variations in your training program. You can go back and see if you have increased the duration in your optimal aerodynamic position, and if the rest metrics have been improved, allowing you to progress.

Prediction of the speed

If the app is used for an Indoor ride, using an intelligent algorithm, it can predict the potential speed of the cyclist taking into consideration the position of the cyclist, the weight of the cyclist and the bike and the power the cyclist puts on the pedals.

For coaches

SmartCyclo is an excellent tool for coaches since it can be a valuable source of information. Correlating the body position on the bike with the average speed, watt and heart rate can be the basis for planning athlete’s short and long-term training schedule.
