SmileMap

Simply tap on the map, and your emoji will be placed on it.

In this first version of the app, you can choose between two emojis: happy and sad.

The app is free. There are also no ads.

Why? Because it's a hobby project. I have no plans to monetize it.

ADVANCED FEATURES:

If you want to delete the latest emoji, tap on the 3-dots menu.

In the same menu, you can show/hide the list of your places. The list shows the emojis and their coordinates (longitude and latitude).

USAGE:

Why do you need this app?

A few ideas:

- mark the good and the bad places in your neighborhood

- organize the forces for your large-scale paintball game

- for farmers: mark the fields that need your attention

- paint lewd images on a real map, using emojis! (am I the only one who always wanted to do it?)

PRIVACY:

The app does not send any data to anyone. All your emojis and their locations are stored locally, on your phone.

Only you can see your places. You can’t even share them with other people (unless you make a screenshot or something).

But remember that the app uses Google Maps, and they could collect your data. And your phone itself could collect your data too. And your mobile carrier.

Therefore, if you need some serious privacy, use a good ol' paper map instead.

SmileMap is the second best option.
