How it works:

1. In your SMS software

• Change the settings to stay silent when an SMS is received (no sound and/or vibration)

2. In your actual Contacts

• Create a group (for instance “Spammer”) and assign it to the annoying contacts

3. In SMS Mute Spam

• Configure the notifications for “valid” received SMS (sound and/or vibration)

• Select the contact group (previously created) designing the annoying contacts; optionally you can indicate if unknown senders (not in your contacts) must also be silent

4. Widget (optional)

• Place a widget on your desktop which will show an icon (or not), and the number of blocked message notifications (or not).
