Is playing squid a real game?

Yes, the game is completely real. It was played mainly in South Korea in the 1970s and 80s. The squid game, the literal translation of its Korean name, is a street game that features offense and defense fighting each other on a squid-shaped court.

What does it take to play the squid game?

First, you will need to draw a special outline of the playground.

The outline consists of two circles at the top and bottom of the board, a square intersecting the bottom circle, and a triangle intersecting the top circle. Just like the picture above.

What are the rules for playing squid?

The rules are simple. Players are divided into two groups: offense and defense. Once the game begins, the defender can run on two legs within reach, while the off-line striker is only allowed to jump on one leg. But if the attacker crosses the squid waist ahead of the defense, he or she is given the opportunity to walk freely on two legs. After preparing for the final battle, the attackers gather at the entrance to the squid. To win, the attackers must tap a small, enclosed space on the squid's head with their feet. But remember, if the defender pushes you past the squid outline, you lose.

You can pull, push, touch rivals - in general, do everything so that the opponents go out of line. On the show, after that, you can't do it, but in life you just drop out of the game.
